This renovated property sits on the banks of the River Torridge in Bideford, on a residential road within walking distance of two pubs and a well-regarded hotel restaurant. The ground-floor living space opens through bi-folding doors onto the river, with a light lounge featuring a gas fire and Smart TV leading into a kitchen/diner fitted in an industrial style.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric range oven with gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a coffee machine, plus an oak dining table for group meals. A ground-floor bathroom with bath and WC sits just off the lounge.

Upstairs are three bedrooms sleeping six in total: a king-size master with en-suite shower room, WC and a balcony over the river, a double, and a twin zip-and-link room that can be made into a super-king on request at booking. A further separate shower room with WC completes the first floor. Dogs are not permitted upstairs, and a stairgate is provided to help manage this; up to five dogs can stay, with additional charges possible.

Outside, a large enclosed patio has garden furniture, a summer house, outdoor lighting and a charcoal barbecue, with the chance to fish directly over the river wall. Off-road parking is allocated for up to two cars, with further roadside parking nearby. A travel cot and highchair are available, and internet access is provided, making this a practical base for a family group or two households sharing.
