This shepherd hut near Ashwater offers adults-only accommodation for two guests within a studio-style open-plan layout combining lounge, kitchen and sleeping area under one roof. A stable door opens onto a private raised decked area with seating, giving guests a quiet spot to sit out over the surrounding countryside.

The kitchen is compact but functional, fitted with an electric two-ring hob, a microwave and a mini-fridge with an ice compartment. A wood burner sits in the lounge area, with a first basket of logs included, and a charcoal barbecue and fire pit are provided outside for al fresco use. The shower room includes a large shower and WC, and bathrobes and towels are supplied.

Guests staying here have access to a shared lakeside summer house with a bar, billiards table and TV, plus outdoor garden games including a nine-hole mini-golf course, croquet and boules, available on request. There is also access to a shared outdoor Cedar barrel sauna, though a small charge applies direct with the owner. Off-road parking is provided on site along with electric vehicle charging.

Please note this is an adults-only property; children and babies cannot be accommodated. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, though the owner will not accept dogs larger than a Labrador, and dogs must remain on a lead within the grounds due to chickens and ducks kept on site, with a separate area available for off-lead exercise. Additional charges may apply for dogs. Internet access is available on site.
