Bunts Barn

Bunts Barn is a restored barn conversion in Northlew near Hatherleigh, built from local stone and reclaimed timber. The cottage sleeps 4 across two king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite, and has a sitting room with a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.

The sitting room's woodburning stove comes with a complimentary basket of logs, and the kitchen/diner sits alongside a cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, one king-size bedroom has an en-suite bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC, and the second, which can be made up as twin beds on request, has an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. Stone steps lead to the first floor, so care is needed there.

The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and oil-fired central heating runs throughout with fuel and power included in the rent. A Smart TV and WiFi cover the sitting room, and stairgates are fitted for families with young children. Outside, a private front patio has a picnic bench for meals in the open air.

Off-road parking is provided for 4 cars. Electric vehicle charging can be arranged by negotiation with the owner. No pets are allowed and the cottage is strictly no smoking. The changeover day is Saturday only. The nearest shop is 4.9 miles away and the pub around a mile by footpath.
