Becket's Barn

Becket's Barn is a reverse-level barn conversion in the courtyard of a farmhouse in Northlew, with the living space upstairs and both bedrooms on the ground floor. A spiral staircase, worth taking care on, leads up to an open-plan living area with hand-crafted oak roof trusses, and the barn sleeps 4.

Both ground-floor double bedrooms have en-suite walk-in showers, basins, heated towel rails and WCs, and a first-floor cloakroom with a WC serves the living space. There is no stairgate, since the spiral staircase does not allow one to be fitted, so it suits families with older children.

The kitchen has an electric oven, convection hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a Smart TV, projector and WiFi cover the living area upstairs. A travel cot and highchair are available. The balcony off the living space has furniture for dining outdoors, and a parish church next door tolls its bells every quarter hour.

Outside, guests have exclusive use of a private hot tub, a dining terrace and a snug seating area with a firepit. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. No pets are allowed and the barn is strictly no smoking. The shop is 5.1 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles.
