1 Caddaford Barns

1 Caddaford Barns is a single-storey barn conversion in a hamlet on a working farm just outside Buckfastleigh, within sight of Dartmoor National Park. The barn sleeps 4 across two ground-floor bedrooms, each with its own en-suite: a king-size room with a bath and a separate shower over, and a double that converts to 2ft 6in twin beds on request, with an en-suite walk-in shower.

The open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with a double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher, plus a dining table for meals in. A woodburning stove and a ground source heat pump with underfloor heating keep the barn warm, and a Smart TV and WiFi cover evenings in. A highchair and travel cot are available on request.

Outside, a front courtyard has a patio and furniture, and off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. EV charging can be arranged with the owner at an extra charge. A shared external utility room has a 12kg washing machine, along with an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, though it must not be left alone in the property or allowed on the beds or furniture, and the surrounding fields have sheep, with two cats and a dog living on site, so let the owner know in advance if you're bringing one; from 2027 the property will no longer accept pets. Smoking is not permitted, short breaks need a minimum of 3 nights, and the property has its own private water supply.
