Wistlandpound Farmhouse - Sleeps 10

Wistlandpound Farmhouse sits on the edge of Exmoor National Park in the rural hamlet of Kentisbury, surrounded by woodland and within a mile of a pub and shop. The property sleeps 10 across five bedrooms: three king-size and two twin rooms, with one twin also containing a daybed that can sleep an additional guest. Three bathrooms serve the group, comprising two shower rooms with WCs and a family bathroom with a bath, handheld shower and WC.

Two separate lounges give the group room to spread out, one equipped with a Smart TV and the other with a wood burner, with the first basket of logs included. The kitchen-diner is fitted with two electric ovens, an induction hob, a microwave, an American-style fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available. Upstairs, a snug and games room adds further space, and Smart TVs are provided in two of the bedrooms as well.

Outside, picnic seating is set within the garden and patio area. Five cars fit in the private parking, and secure storage for bikes, canoes, surfboards and other equipment comes with a wetsuit drying area, which is practical for groups heading to the coast. CCTV covers the entrance gate only when the property is vacant and does not record any areas used by guests. Dogs are not accepted.

Travel cots and highchairs are available on request for families with young children. Wistlandpound Reservoir is half a mile away on foot, the nearest beach is around five miles out, and the South West Coast Path is accessible roughly five miles from the property. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
