Threshers Barn

Threshers Barn stands at the end of a private driveway at Waddicombe, near Dulverton, on the edge of Exmoor National Park. This reverse-level barn conversion sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples or a small family looking for a rural base with country views on the doorstep.

The layout places living space on the upper floor, where an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area is finished with exposed beams and a wood burner, with a first basket of logs included and further supplies available from the owner or in Dulverton. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, and a separate utility room holds the washing machine along with space for coats and boots. A Freesat TV is provided in the lounge. Downstairs on the lower ground floor are the double and twin bedrooms, decorated in neutral tones, along with the bathroom; a second, separate WC is located upstairs.

French doors lead from the living area onto a patio with table and chairs, adjoining an enclosed lawn with countryside views and a pond in a neighbouring field. Ample off-road parking is available on site, and internet access is provided. A travel cot and highchair can be supplied on request for families travelling with young children.

Dogs are welcome, with one accepted as standard and a second considered by arrangement, though additional charges may apply; as four male dogs live separately on the property, guests are asked not to bring females in season. Shops and pubs in Dulverton are around four miles away. Arrival is from 14:00 and departure by 10:00.
