The Pines

This house stands in an elevated position near Eastleigh, close to Instow, with views over the surrounding countryside toward the coast. Original tiled floors and period features run through the ground floor, combined with a large formal lounge with a bar area and a separate snug with a working wood burner, for which the first basket of logs is included.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric-style AGA, an induction hob, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and opens onto a sheltered seating area. A separate utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is a ground-floor WC in addition to the six bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom or en-suite.

Six bedrooms sleep up to 12 guests: a twin with en-suite accessed via a back staircase, two super-king zip-and-link rooms that can be converted to twins on request, two king-size rooms each with en-suite facilities, and a further super-king room whose en-suite bathroom is reached via four steps. One of the ground-floor bedrooms has a shower room opposite rather than a fitted en-suite.

Outside, extensive lawns bordered by farmland lead to an orchard with swings and a garden area enclosed for guest use. A games barn offers table tennis, darts, a pool table, table football and toys for younger children, while off-road parking is available on site. A travel cot (without mattress) and a highchair can be provided, and internet access is available throughout. Dogs are not permitted at this property.
