The Old Manor House

The Old Manor House stands within its own walled grounds in Lifton, a former hunting lodge said to date back to Charles I. It sleeps 12 across six bedrooms and four bathrooms, with off-road parking for 5 cars and further roadside parking nearby. Dogs are welcome, kept downstairs on the wooden-floored areas rather than upstairs, in the lounge or on the white carpets, with access to the walled gardens.

Four of the six bedrooms are en-suite: two king-size rooms share access to a large shower room, one double has an en-suite shower room, and a mezzanine double reached by a spiral staircase shares that bathroom. A further double has a large en-suite bathroom, and the sixth room can be made up as a king-size bed or two twins, sharing a jack-and-jill en-suite. A cloakroom downstairs has a WC and basin.

Downstairs, the kitchen/diner has an electric range cooker, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, with a separate utility room. A dining room and a sitting room each have their own woodburning stove, and the sitting room also has an open fire, a TV with streaming, a Nintendo Wii, an Xbox, a pool table and DVD players.

Outside, an enclosed one-acre garden has a lawn, gravelled areas, a patio, a hot tub, a fire pit, sun loungers and a barbecue, plus a swimming pool open in the summer months. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available. Smoking and vaping are not permitted, and the shop and pub are both within 0.1 miles.
