The Acorn Lodge

The Acorn Lodge sits within a complex of properties near Fenny Bridges, close to Honiton, and sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. An open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner forms the main living space, with a dining table for four, an electric flame-effect fire and a Smart TV.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer, so self-catering is straightforward. The double bedroom and twin bedroom are both on the ground floor, along with the single bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, a wrap-around balcony gives space for garden furniture, and the enclosed garden includes wooden play equipment for children plus a fenced area with picnic tables and outdoor table tennis. Guests can walk the surrounding fields and woods down to the River Otter. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and parking is provided on site for guests' cars.

Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying, and a doggie welcome pack along with a Mud Daddy dog washer are provided for cleaning up after muddy walks. A shop and pub are both within reach on foot, useful for guests without a car for every trip. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger visitors, and the property is decorated for Christmas during the festive season.
