The 1450 Barn

This detached barn conversion stands on a working farm near Iddesleigh, close to Winkleigh in North Devon. The property retains original stonework and beams in the open lounge and dining room, where French doors open onto the enclosed garden. A Smart TV and Blu-ray DVD player are provided in the lounge, and the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, two fridges, a countertop freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Upstairs, three bedrooms sleep up to six guests: a king-size room with an en-suite shower room and TV, a super-king room with a TV that can be arranged as a twin if requested at the time of booking, and a bunk bedroom. The main bathroom has a bath with a separate shower and WC, and there is an additional WC on the ground floor.

Outside, the enclosed garden includes a private hot tub, a barbecue, garden furniture and a children's play area. Guests staying here can arrange with the owner to meet and help feed the farm's resident animals, including ponies, goats, chickens, sheep and cattle, with lambs visible during lambing season across the farm's land.

Parking is available on site for three cars, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. Wifi is available at the property. The nearest pub is two miles away and the nearest shop three miles away. Dogs are not permitted at this property.
