Stone Quarry Cottage

Stone Quarry Cottage is a semi-detached property set within farmland close to Bampton, on the edge of the Exe Valley. It sleeps two guests in a single upstairs bedroom with a king-size bed, making it suited to couples rather than families or groups.

The ground floor is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and lounge in one space. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and there's a washing machine for longer stays. A wood burner sits in the lounge, with the first basket of logs provided, and a Smart TV with radio completes the living area. The bathroom, also on the ground floor, has a bath with a shower over and a separate WC within the same room.

Outside, a lawned garden to the rear is enclosed, while a patio at the front, reached through the lounge's patio doors, has a bistro table and chairs for outdoor meals or morning coffee. Guests can also walk across the surrounding farmland, home to resident pigs and chickens. Parking is available on site, and the property runs on solar power with water supplied by a local spring.

Three dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. Wifi is provided for guests who need to stay connected. This cottage is not suitable for larger groups given its single bedroom, and there are no lift or ground-floor bedroom facilities, so guests with mobility needs should check the layout carefully before booking.
