Birches

Birches sits on the outskirts of Bampton, within reach of North Devon countryside and Exmoor beyond. The home sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples or small families wanting a base for walking routes that start close to the doorstep, with dogs welcome to join the exploring.

Inside, an entrance hallway leads to an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, along with a downstairs WC. The lounge has a sofa, two armchairs and a Smart TV, while the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher, plus a dining table with seating for all guests. Upstairs, both bedrooms have king-size beds and ample storage, and the family shower room includes a walk-in waterfall shower and WC.

Outside, a rear garden is enclosed and laid to lawn and patio, with outdoor seating and a charcoal barbecue for evenings at home. Off-road parking is provided for one car, with further roadside parking available nearby, and an EV charging point on the driveway operates on an honesty-box payment basis. Internet access is available throughout the property.

Up to three dogs can stay, with additional charges that may apply, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested ahead of arrival. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 9:30am. A shop and pub are within about a mile, useful for stays that do not rely on a car for every trip.
