This single-storey home stands in Mortehoe, near Woolacombe, with pubs and a shop around 500 yards away and the beach roughly 0.2 miles from the door. Sleeping four across two bedrooms, it suits couples or a small family looking for a compact base near the North Devon coast. The South West Coastal Path runs about half a mile from the property, and the beaches at Grunta, Combesgate and Barricane are all within 1.5 miles, giving plenty of choice for a day by the sea.

Everything is arranged on one level. A hallway leads into a lounge with sea views and a Smart TV with DVD player, opening through to a kitchen/dining room that also looks out towards the sea. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, air fryer, microwave, washing machine and coffee machine. Two double bedrooms, each with a platform bed, share a single family bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC. A sofa bed in the lounge can accommodate two extra guests, though the sleeping capacity for the property remains four.

Outside, an enclosed garden is laid to lawn with a decked area and patio furniture, along with a charcoal barbecue and fire pit for evenings spent outdoors. A private driveway provides parking for one car, and internet access is available throughout the home.

One dog is welcome to stay, though additional charges may apply and dogs are asked to keep off the sofas. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is by 10am. The property is decorated for Christmas during the festive season, worth bearing in mind for anyone booking over that period. Shops, cafes and restaurants sit within the village itself, while Watermouth Castle and Watermouth Cove lie around 9 miles away for a change of pace during a stay.
