Shepherds Hut At Lower Chapeltown

This shepherd's hut and lodge combination sits within an enclosed private garden on a 300-acre working farm near Cadbury, close to Tiverton. Two separate buildings make up the property: a lodge providing living and kitchen space, and a shepherd's hut containing the sleeping quarters. The accommodation is for two guests only; no babies or children are accepted.

The lodge offers a lounge with Freeview TV and DVD player, a kitchen equipped with range-style gas oven, hob, fridge and microwave, a shower room with WC, and a further separate WC accessed via the private decked area behind. The shepherd's hut provides the double bedroom with a wood burner (logs included) and tea and coffee making facilities.

Outside, a large private sunken hot tub sits on a decked area with garden furniture, BBQ and fire pit. A separate suntrap terrace adjoins the shepherd's hut for sunbathing and quiet relaxation. A small paddock is available for ball games or exercising dogs. Up to two dogs stay here (additional charges may apply). Off-road parking accommodates two cars.

Tiverton town centre is 7 miles away and Exeter 12 miles. A pub lies 1 mile distant; a farm shop 3 miles. Arrival is from 16:00; departure before 10:00.
