Hideaway Cabin

Hideaway Cabin is a single-storey, hand-crafted cabin near Cadbury, with a studio layout that combines the double bed, kitchen, dining and sitting areas in one room. It sleeps 2 and is fully insulated, heated by an electric heater.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Steps lead up to the cabin, so it suits guests happy with a short climb, and the private outside area is unenclosed with a slope down towards an orchard, so take care.

The kitchen has a two-ring induction hob, a Belfast sink, a fridge with an ice box, a kettle and a toaster, plus books, games and a radio for evenings in. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Hideaway Cabin is part of the Greener Camping Club, and booking a stay enrols guests as members, with a tree planted on the farm for every membership.

Outside, there is designated off-road parking and a private area with furniture and a fire pit; a starter pack of logs is provided, with more available to buy on request. No pets are allowed and the cabin is strictly no smoking. The shop and pub are both 1.5 miles away, and Thorverton village, with its thatched cottages, is a 1.5-mile walk. Exeter is 6.8 miles further on, Crediton 6.4 miles and Tiverton 8.3 miles.
