Sea Maiden

This cottage sits above Maidencombe, reached by a pathway of around 50 steps winding down through the garden to the front door, and sleeps four across two bedrooms. The lounge has patio doors and armchairs arranged to make the most of the coastal and hillside views, with a second seating area, a Smart TV and a dining space nearby. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a downstairs cloakroom with WC completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super-king-size bed, coastal views, and an archway through to a dressing room with a bureau and wardrobe space, leading to an en-suite bathroom with bath, bidet and WC. The twin room also has views from its window, and a separate family shower room with a walk-in shower and WC serves the rest of the house. For larger groups, a further downstairs bedroom with a king-size bed and its own shower room and WC can be booked for an additional £300, with sliding doors opening onto sea-facing decking.

Outside, a private decked balcony has a bistro-style table and chairs, with steps down to a larger decking area furnished for outdoor meals, a small summer house, and a BBQ. The garden is not fully enclosed and there are ponds within it, so children under seven cannot be accepted, and older children and dogs need supervision outdoors. Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying.

Private off-road parking is provided for two cars, including EV charging for one car at an additional fee. Fast fibre wifi is available throughout, and a local bus route runs close by. A pub, shop and beach are around 1.5 miles away, with Maidencombe Beach welcoming dogs. Guests should note the 50-step approach to the property and the outdoor doorbell and spotlight cameras at front and rear, both of which can be switched off manually.
