Sandridge Barton

Sandridge Barton House is a six-bedroom Georgian farmhouse set among vineyards, farmland and woods in the Dart Valley near Stoke Gabriel, reached by a drive down through the estate with views of the River Dart. The house sleeps 12 across six bedrooms and five bathrooms, spread over three floors.

The first floor holds five bedrooms: a master suite with a super king bed, en-suite and sitting area; a king room with a river view and en-suite shower room; a super king that converts to a twin, also with a river view; a double; and a twin, served by a family bathroom and a further shower room.

Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opens onto a south-facing terrace, alongside a snug with a wood-burning stove and a drawing room with an open fireplace and river views. The kitchen has an Everhot range, a breakfast bar and a utility area with a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, and a separate TV room is set up for films. Starlink WiFi covers the whole house.

The heated indoor pool measures 30ft by 15ft with a 4'9" depth, with its own changing area, WC and towels provided. A separate games barn has a full-size snooker table, table tennis, table football and a TV with DVD player, good for wet days or evening tournaments.

A sixth bedroom, an en-suite double, sits on the lower ground floor with its own entrance through a kitchenette and dining space, and its own garden access. The terrace has an outdoor dining table, a barbecue and loungers. Off-road parking is provided for eight cars, a cot and highchair are available on request, short breaks are not accepted, and no pets are allowed; the property is no smoking.
