Quintin Cottage

This detached property sits in Landkey, near Barnstaple, and sleeps up to six guests across three first-floor bedrooms. The king-size room has its own en-suite shower room, while the double and twin rooms share the main bathroom, which has a bath, shower and WC. A separate downstairs WC is located in the utility room, outside the main part of the house.

Two lounges give guests room to spread out: the first has two deep sofas, a Smart TV and a corner fireplace fitted with a wood burner, while the second offers a quieter retreat with its own wood burner, Smart TV and DVD player. A first basket of logs is included with each. The kitchen/diner is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and doors lead out to a decked patio, while the washing machine is kept in the utility room.

Outside, the decked patio has seating, sun loungers and a barbecue, and steps down to an enclosed lawn area with a sunken trampoline and a treehouse, making this a practical base for families. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and off-road parking is provided along with secure storage for bikes.

Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. A pub with a mini-shop is within walking distance of the property, and the nearest beach is around twelve miles away. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am. The property is decorated for Christmas during the festive season, and internet access is available throughout.
