Primrose Cottage

Primrose Cottage is a converted barn in the pretty rural hamlet of Huntshaw, a short drive from Gammaton, standing next to the owners' farmhouse and their bed & breakfast. Everything is arranged on one level, with an open-plan living area combining the kitchen, a dining space and a sitting area warmed by an electric fire.

The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, sit off this open-plan space, along with a bathroom fitted with a bath, a hand-held shower and a basin, plus a separate WC nearby. A small number of internal steps run through the cottage, worth knowing if anyone in your group finds steps difficult to manage.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and the sitting area has a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, an iPod dock, radio and WiFi, plus a selection of books, games and DVDs. Oil central heating covers the cottage, backed up by the electric fire, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels all included in the rent.

Outside, a private patio comes with furniture for sitting out, and guests also have shared use of the owners' extensive garden beyond it. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car right by the cottage. No pets are allowed at Primrose Cottage, the nearest shop and pub are around 4 miles away, and the property is no smoking throughout.
