Partridge Barn

Partridge Barn sits on a working farm in Templeton, a village close to Tiverton in Devon, and sleeps four across two bedrooms. Both rooms have super-king-size zip-and-link beds that can be reconfigured as singles on request, making the barn practical for friends or a family travelling together. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The barn has been converted to an open-plan layout with vaulted ceilings and a kitchen-diner fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. A dining table provides seating for the full party, and the living room has two leather sofas in front of a smart cinema-style projector screen. Heating runs from a wood pellet system, with guidance provided at the property. A downstairs shower room with WC and a full bathroom upstairs serve the two bedrooms. A travel cot and highchair are available for families with young children.

Outside, a private hot tub sits within an enclosed patio area furnished with outdoor seating, suitable for al fresco meals or morning coffee. Ample on-site parking is included. The nearest shop and pub are five miles away, so a car is effectively essential for the stay.

The market town of Tiverton is five miles away for everyday supplies and services. The Two Moors Way long-distance trail passes within seven miles, Exmoor is roughly twelve miles distant and Dartmoor around twenty, giving walkers and day-trippers a wide choice of terrain without travelling far.
