Parnacott

Parnacott is a Grade II listed 16th-century house three miles from Holsworthy and eight miles from the surf beach at Bude. It has large rooms with big windows, and two of its seven bedrooms are on the ground floor, with the other five reached by a curving staircase; the house sleeps 14 in total.

Upstairs are a double with a four-poster bed and basin, a double with a super king-size bed and basin, a king-size double with its own en-suite bathroom, and two twin rooms with basins, sharing a bathroom with a separate shower and a further shower room. The two ground-floor bedrooms, a twin leading into a double, share their own shower room. A drawing room has an open fire, and a breakfast room with a wood burning stove doubles as a second sitting room off the kitchen.

Outside, 12 acres of grounds include a children's play area and a barbecue, and a barn houses a table tennis table alongside garden games such as badminton and croquet. A hot tub with capacity for up to 7 people is available for a fee. It is not possible to charge electric vehicles at the property. A cot and highchair are available on request, and the house has a washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV and WiFi throughout.

Parnacott welcomes two well-behaved dogs only. Off-road parking is provided for 10 cars, and stays run to a 3-night minimum. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and stag or hen parties are not accepted.
