Orchard View

Orchard View is a private detached bungalow in a peaceful, secluded spot in Kellaton, in the South Hams area of South Devon. A few steps lead down to the front door and into a hall, with a sitting room beyond that looks out over the surrounding countryside from beside a wood burning stove.

The bungalow sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children across three single-storey bedrooms, a king, a double and a twin, sharing a shower room with a WC and basin. The sitting room has a three-seater sofa, two armchairs and a bean bag, and the neat kitchen opens to a separate dining room down a single step.

A microwave, fridge-freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher cover the practical side, and a TV with Freesat, DVD and WiFi fill the evenings. Outside, an enclosed garden holds a barbecue and a lawn to run on, plus an outhouse with table tennis. Off-road parking is provided for up to 3 cars.

Orchard View does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted. Towels are not supplied, so guests should bring their own, and between Easter and the October half term the property takes full-week bookings only. A sandy beach at Lannacombe is within walking distance, with the South West Coast Path running past it.
