Orchard View At Turning Ways

Orchard View At Turning Ways is a single-storey lodge set up for two guests, within walking distance of Morchard Bishop, which has a village shop, cafe and pub. The whole property is arranged on one level, so there are no internal stairs to negotiate between the open-plan living space and the bedroom.

The lounge, kitchen and dining area sit together behind bi-folding doors, with a wood burner (a first basket of logs is provided) for cooler evenings and a Smart TV with Bluetooth sound bar and Blu-ray player for quieter nights in. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a fridge-freezer, a microwave and a combined washer-dryer, so self-catering is straightforward for a short or longer stay. The king-size bedroom leads off the kitchen, with a shower room with WC next door.

Outside, a decked area off the lounge offers seating to make the most of the countryside setting, and a separate summer house comes with a charcoal barbecue plus a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Allocated off-road parking is provided for one car, and internet access is available in the lodge.

This lodge is not suitable for infants or children, and dogs are not accepted. Arrival is from 3pm and departure is required before 10am, giving a clear turnaround between bookings.
