Sitting within a family smallholding on the edge of Beaworthy, this one-bedroom cottage sleeps two and comes with access to 13 acres of private fields and woodland. A small lake on the grounds is available for fishing, with tuition bookable directly with the owner for an additional charge. Friendly alpacas, horses and chickens share the surrounding paddocks, and an electric entrance gate leads to private off-road parking for one car.

The ground floor opens with an entrance porch for coats and boots, then flows into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Exposed beams and a large sofa set the tone, while the kitchen provides an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. A Smart TV, DAB radio, board games and books round out the indoor comforts, and a contemporary shower room with WC sits just off the hallway.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom looks out over the countryside and leads onto a private balcony with outdoor seating, a practical spot for breakfast before a day out. Outside, a patio with seating and a BBQ provides space for evening meals, and a fire pit down by the lake suits a quieter end to the day. An outdoor tap handles muddy boots and paws, and up to two dogs are welcome, though they must not be left unattended in the property; a kennel with bedding is available on request at no charge.

The cottage has a private water supply, and CCTV covers the parking area and entrance gate. A shop and pub are two miles away. Stabling and grazing for one horse can be arranged for an additional charge, and further fishing lakes are within two miles with charges applying. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
