Nuthatch Cottage

Nuthatch Cottage sits near Sheldon, close to Honiton, within the Blackdown Hills. Entry is through French doors into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining space, where sofas face a Smart TV and a wood burner (logs not included, though bags are available locally).

The ground floor holds a twin bedroom and a shower room with WC. Upstairs are two king-size bedrooms, one fitted with its own TV, and a second twin room, along with a bathroom featuring a hand-held shower over the bath and an additional separate WC. In total the cottage sleeps eight across four bedrooms.

Outside, an enclosed patio at the front and side of the property has a private five-person hot tub, garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Guests can also use a shared games room with table football, table tennis and a pool table (a small coin charge applies, donated to the local church), plus a shared utility room with two washing machines and a tumble dryer. Off-road parking is available on site, and Starlink internet is provided.

One dog is welcome as standard, with a second permitted by prior arrangement with the owner; dogs must be kept in the kitchen using the stair-gate provided, and additional charges may apply. A travel cot and highchair can be requested ahead of arrival. Fireworks are not permitted due to livestock nearby, and the property cannot be booked for stag or hen parties, though family celebrations and reunions are welcomed.
