Island House

This four-bedroom cottage sits in Stokenham, with the sitting room and two of the upstairs bedrooms looking out over the village green towards rolling countryside and the sea beyond. A central hallway on the ground floor connects a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room reached through double doors, and a sitting room with a Smart TV and DVD player.

The ground floor also holds a flexible double or twin bedroom, served by a Jack and Jill shower room accessible from either the hallway or the bedroom itself. Upstairs, two double bedrooms at the front share those village and sea views, with one benefiting from its own en-suite shower room, while a twin bedroom overlooks the rear of the property. A family bathroom and a separate WC complete the first floor. The cottage sleeps eight across its four bedrooms, with a pull-out bed available on request for a ninth guest and a travel cot provided for younger visitors.

Outside, a fully enclosed garden with a patio area gives children and dogs room to play safely, and doubles as a spot for outdoor meals or evening drinks. Designated on-street parking is provided for two cars. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply, and a Blink camera covers the front door in the external porch.

The kitchen is fitted with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a Bosch coffee maker, and towels are included for every stay. A village pub is close by, with the beach a short distance further on. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
