Horseford Snug

This retreat in East Worlington sleeps four across two bedrooms, with the front door opening directly into a wooden-floored twin room that leads through to the kitchen/diner. The first floor holds a double bedroom with its own TV, alongside the bathroom, which has a hand-held shower attachment over the bath and WC. A separate WC sits downstairs off the kitchen area. Low beams and sloping ceilings on the upper floor are part of the building's original structure, so taller guests should take care when moving around.

The kitchen/diner is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with ice compartment, a dishwasher, microwave and a Tassimo coffee machine. Upstairs, the lounge has apex ceilings, exposed beams and a wood burner, with a first basket of logs provided, plus large French doors opening onto a decked area. A Smart TV is available here for evenings in. The property draws its water from a private supply rather than the mains.

Outside, an enclosed garden gives countryside views along with decking furnished with a dining table, chairs and sun loungers, and a charcoal BBQ for outdoor meals. Off-road parking is provided on site, and there is internet access in the property. Two dogs are welcome, either two small breeds or one large dog, with additional charges applying; dog towels and a dog washer are supplied. A travel cot and highchair are available on request for younger guests.

The nearest shop is around 3.5 miles away and the closest pub about 3 miles, so it is worth arranging a supermarket delivery in advance if needed, which can be taken in and stored in the kitchen before arrival. Electric car charging was previously available at an owner-payable rate but ceased at the end of September 2025, so guests with electric vehicles should make alternative charging arrangements before booking.
