Honeysuckle Cottage Weare Giffard

Honeysuckle Cottage sits in Weare Giffard, reached along a cobbled front path and up three steps to a stable door entrance. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples or a small family looking for a settled base near a traditional village pub.

Inside, a stable door opens directly into the lounge, which has low ceilings, a gas log effect fire and a smart TV. The kitchen/diner is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and slimline dishwasher, with a small table plus two folding chairs stored under the stairs for extra seating. A rear utility room with a sink connects to the garden via a covered walkway, useful for muddy boots after a walk, and a downstairs shower room with WC completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, cottage-style stairs lead to both bedrooms. The super-king-size room and the king-size room each have plenty of storage and views over the front garden towards the river. The bathroom, tucked into the eaves, has a bath and WC but restricted head height in places.

Outside, a patio at the front holds a table and chairs looking towards the river, while the steep rear garden rises through two seating platforms, one shaded with steamer chairs and a higher one with further table and chairs looking across the valley. Barbecues are not permitted because the cottage is thatched. Off-road parking for two cars is available in a private layby at the bottom of the garden, and dogs are not accepted at this property.
