Honey House

Honey House is a detached cottage in the grounds of a mill house at Combebow, near Lewdown, set within 54 acres of woods and meadows. Downstairs, an open-plan living space has a comfortable seating area, a dining area and a step up to the kitchen, and upstairs two cosy bedrooms sit under the eaves, a double and a twin, sharing the ground-floor bathroom.

The bathroom has a bath, shower over, WC and basin. The kitchen is fitted with a microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and there's a Smart TV, a phone and WiFi throughout, with central heating, fuel and power all included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are provided too, and a cot and highchair are available on request.

An enclosed garden at the front has a willow den, an arbour and a barbecue for cooking supper outdoors, with views over the surrounding woodland. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and the grounds hold the remains of a 12th-century mill with its original machinery, worth a wander to spot the local wildlife.

No pets are allowed and the cottage is strictly no smoking. Short breaks are not offered at this property, and the nearest shop is 3.6 miles away with a pub 2.3 miles away, in a quiet, rural spot with easy access to the A30 through Devon and Cornwall.
