Greylands Bluebell Barn

Greylands Bluebell Barn is a one-bedroom conversion set close to the main farmhouse near Holsworthy Beacon, on the Devon side of the Devon/Cornwall border. Suited to a couple, it sleeps two in a single king-size bedroom with exposed beams and a wall-mounted television.

A hallway with a storage cupboard leads into a split-level, open-plan living space. The lower level holds the lounge and dining area, with sofa seating, a table for two, a TV/DVD and an electric fire with a woodburner-style effect, plus a door out to the patio. Five wooden steps rise to a farmhouse-style kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

Doors from the lounge open onto a private patio with a barbecue and a picnic-style bench, a quiet spot for evening drinks. This leads onto a shared lawn area, where guests can use provided croquet equipment, and there is a shared games barn with a table tennis table and darts board. Parking is available on site.

Wi-Fi is provided but can be intermittent owing to the rural setting, and the nearest shops and pub are around five miles away. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying, and a travel cot and highchair are available. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure is before 10:00.
