Gidcott Cottage

This cottage sits in rural Devon countryside near Gidcott, within 2 miles of the village pub and shop. Bude's beaches and North Cornish coast lie 15 miles away, and the property sits convenient to walking trails including the Ruby Way (9 miles) and Tarka Trail (11 miles), with Dartmoor and Exmoor both within reach.

The open-plan living space combines lounge, dining and kitchen in one sociable area. Exposed beams, French doors to the garden, and a wood burner with the first basket of logs included define the room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and washer/dryer. Smart TVs feature in the lounge and both bedrooms.

Both bedrooms are arranged on the ground floor along a hallway from the living space. The first has a king-size bed and en-suite wet room-style shower room; the second provides a twin zip-and-link bed, convertible to king-size on request, with its own en-suite wet room. Each room has an external door and Smart TV.

Outside, a large streamside lawn designated for guest use comes with garden seating, a charcoal BBQ and a private hot tub. Private off-road parking accommodates two cars directly outside. Please note an unfenced stream runs alongside the garden and children require supervision when outside. Travel cot and highchair are available on request. No dogs are permitted at this property.
