Duckdown

Duckdown is a two-bedroom cottage forming part of a complex of properties at Bittadon, near Woolacombe. It sleeps up to four guests and combines original character, including oak beams in the lounge, with practical family amenities. Ilfracombe lies around 5 miles away, with Woolacombe's beach roughly 6 miles distant, and both the South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park within about 7 miles.

The lounge has a wood burner, with the first basket of logs included, plus a Smart TV. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine, while a separate utility room houses the washing machine. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has its own dressing room and en-suite shower room with WC, and the twin bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside there are two seating areas with patio furniture, one overlooking the gardens, ideal for using the charcoal barbecue. Guests also have access to a shared garden area with a small children's playground. Private parking is provided for two cars, and a highchair and travel cot are available on request. A shop is around 2 miles away, with a pub at roughly 3.5 miles and the nearest beach about 5 miles from the cottage.

One dog is welcome, with additional charges potentially applying. Internet access is provided throughout. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is before 10:00, and as part of a complex of four properties, some outdoor space is shared with neighbouring guests staying nearby.
