Cob Cottage

Cob Cottage is a thatched, Grade II listed cob dwelling in Liverton, near Bovey Tracey, thought to be over 400 years old and lovingly restored to keep its original features. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, on the edge of Dartmoor and within around 30 minutes of the coast.

The double bedroom has its own en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and the twin bedroom is served by a ground-floor bathroom with a bath, a shower over, a basin, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There are steps down to the property and a steep staircase inside, worth taking care on.

The kitchen and living/dining room keep the original exposed stonework and cob walls throughout. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher, and a Smart TV with WiFi covers evenings in. An air source heat pump runs underfloor heating throughout, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Cob Cottage takes one well-behaved dog, and other pets are not accepted due to allergies. A stairgate and travel cot are available, along with a highchair on request. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and a private patio has furniture for outdoor time. The shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles. There is no EV charging point at the property, and smoking is not permitted.
