Churston Cottage

Churston Cottage sits in Churston Ferrers, near Brixham, and sleeps two guests in a single king-size bedroom. Entry is via an original cobbled courtyard into a porch that doubles as a boot room, fitted with a washing machine and dishwasher for practical use during longer stays.

The ground floor opens into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner, with a sofa arranged around a Smart TV and a wood burner that also provides supplementary radiator heating. A first basket of logs is supplied in April, May, October and November. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, microwave and a fridge with a small freezer compartment.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has an original ornamental fireplace, and a second small room next to it offers a dressing area and space for a travel cot, which is available on request along with a highchair. The single shower room has a shower and WC. Outside, an enclosed cobbled courtyard, uneven underfoot, has seating for a quiet drink; the neighbouring property has access across this courtyard.

Parking is on the roadside and subject to availability rather than guaranteed on site. One dog is welcome, with a second considered by arrangement and additional charges may apply. A Blink camera is fitted in the lean-to and is switched off on arrival. Shops and pubs are within walking distance.
