Cherryblossom Cottage

Cherryblossom Cottage is set in the village of Monkokehampton, near Winkleigh in rural Devon. The open-plan living space combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting area around a woodburning stove, with a separate utility room off to one side for longer stays. Two cherry blossom trees stand in the garden, and a path leads down to a nearby stream for walkers.

The cottage sleeps 4 in a king-size and a twin bedroom, one of the twin beds being a full-size cabin bed best suited to children, sharing a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a slimline dishwasher, and oil central heating covers the cottage throughout, with fuel and power included in the rent.

A Smart TV, WiFi and a selection of books and games are provided for evenings in, and bed linen and towels are supplied. Outside, an enclosed rear garden has a lawn, patio and furniture. Off-road parking takes 2 cars, and a highchair and travel cot are available on request. Note that electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property, though there are several charging points locally.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, though they are not permitted upstairs beyond the stair gate. Smoking is not allowed, and the shop and pub are both 2.6 miles away, with the market town of Okehampton and the cathedral city of Exeter both a further drive for a day out.
