Charlesworth

Charlesworth is a two-storey detached chalet bungalow in the small village of Ashford, set on high ground above Braunton with estuary views. The kitchen, dining room and sitting room sit alongside a utility area and a games room, and the sitting room looks out over the same views that reach the bedrooms upstairs.

The king-size bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath, basin and WC, and wakes to estuary views. A double bedroom and a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC are both downstairs next to each other, and a twin bedroom completes the layout, with a dressing area off one of the rooms. The house sleeps 6 across the three bedrooms.

Outside, a patio with seating sits alongside a garden furnished with deck chairs, a hammock and a summerhouse, and a table tennis table is kept in the garage for the games room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a coffee maker, with a TV, DVD and CD player plus WiFi in the sitting room.

Oil central heating covers the property, with fuel and power included in the rent. Off-road parking is provided for 3 cars on the driveway. One well-behaved pet is welcome for a fee, and smoking is not permitted. Shops, pubs and restaurants are around 3 miles away, with the coast about 5 miles.
