Cedarwood Cottage

Cedarwood Cottage sits in the heart of Winkleigh, a short stroll from the village's two pubs, post office, butcher and shop. The open-plan living room has a stone fireplace with a wood-burner effect electric fire, a TV and dining for four, and the kitchen at the rear of the property catches the daylight. A stay here needs a minimum of three nights.

Traditional cottage-style stairs lead up to two bedrooms and the family bathroom: a double with a dressing table and plenty of clothing storage, and a smaller room with bunk beds and a built-in wardrobe, with views towards Dartmoor in the distance. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob, a fridge with an ice compartment, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee machine, and a washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the external utility area.

Outside, wooden decking leads from the kitchen down steps to a fully enclosed, south-facing patio garden, with lockable storage for bicycles or other equipment. Roadside parking is available around 20 yards from the cottage. A highchair and travel cot are available for younger guests, and the gas central heating and fuel are included in the rent.

Cedarwood Cottage takes one well-behaved dog. Smoking is not permitted, and the property has an EPC rating of Band E. Winkleigh's shop, cafe and two pubs, one serving local ciders from the Winkleigh Cider Company, are all within easy reach on foot.
