Button Barn

Button Barn is a two-storey conversion sitting on a 60-acre working beef and sheep farm on the edge of Bratton Fleming, accommodating up to four guests across two bedrooms. The double has sloping beamed ceilings, while the twin room, accessed via two steps down at the entrance, is lit by skylights set into its own sloping ceiling. A single shower room with WC serves both.

The lounge is the heart of the barn, with exposed stonework, a beamed ceiling and a wood burner set beneath a wide chimney with a wooden lintel. Three steps down through a doorway at one end leads to the kitchen and dining area, fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine. A Smart TV sits in the lounge and a further TV is in the double bedroom.

Outside, guests have use of shared lawn gardens with picnic benches, and the owner welcomes walkers onto the farmland bordering the barn for wildlife spotting. Off-street parking is available for two cars. A shop and pub are around half a mile away. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are all available, making the barn a practical choice for families with young children. No dogs are permitted, and all-adult male groups are not accepted.

Barnstaple is 7.5 miles away for shopping and everyday needs, while Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum is 6.5 miles. The nearest beach is roughly 13 miles, so guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
