Burford Linhay

Burford Linhay is a converted barn near Higher Clovelly, sleeping up to six across three bedrooms. Exposed stonework, beams and split levels give the ground floor plenty of character, and the property sits on a working farm where guests can visit the animals and wander across the fields.

On the ground floor, a king-size bedroom with a built-in wardrobe and smart TV is reached via one step up and has its own en-suite shower room with WC. A twin bedroom on the same level, accessed by two steps down, also has a fitted wardrobe, smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC. Upstairs, a second twin bedroom has exposed A-frame beams, a TV and a door out to a small decked balcony with steps down to the garden. A separate bathroom on the ground floor has a shower over bath and WC. Because this is a converted barn, steps connect the different levels throughout, which is worth noting for anyone with limited mobility.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and a Tassimo coffee machine, along with a woodburner and a first basket of logs included. French doors open onto a patio and enclosed garden with furniture and a gas barbecue, plus a swing, slide and football goal for children. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Higher Clovelly is close by, with Clovelly village around three miles north and the beach roughly four miles away. Ample parking is provided on site, and internet access is available. Dogs are not permitted at this property.
