Brendon Barn

Set in the village of Brendon within Exmoor National Park, this barn conversion sleeps two and accepts one dog. Private gates open onto a country-style kitchen and dining area, with a ground-floor super-king-size bedroom and shower room beyond. Steps lead up to a bright lounge with moorland views, comfortable sofas and a wood burner; the first basket of logs is included.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering: twin induction countertop hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine are all provided. A Smart TV sits in the lounge, parking for one car is available at the property, and an on-site EV charging point is included for electric vehicles.

Outside, a landscaped garden with a decked area and outdoor furniture is a good spot for alfresco meals using the charcoal BBQ. A pub is around 800 metres away on foot, and the river East Lyn, known locally for river swimming and scenic walking, runs through the village.

Lynmouth is four miles away, with the cliff railway up to Lynton and its shops and galleries close by. The Valley of Rocks, where goats roam the cliff tops, and the South West Coast Path with some of the highest cliffs in Britain are both within easy reach.
