Abode

Abode is a detached, adults-only cottage in Raymond's Hill, near Rocombe and about 2.7 miles from Axminster, close to the Devon/Dorset border and the Jurassic Coast. The cottage sleeps 2 in a single king-size bedroom, with a private terraced garden and seating areas at the back for meals outside.

The king-size bedroom has its own TV and an en-suite walk-in shower room with basin and WC, and there's a separate ground-floor cloakroom with basin and WC. The open-plan living space downstairs combines the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area warmed by an electric fire, with room to settle in for an evening film.

The kitchen has an electric oven, grill and halogen hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, plus two TVs and high-speed fibre broadband throughout. Electric central heating covers the cottage, and both bed linen and towels are included in the rent alongside fuel and power.

Abode takes up to two well-behaved dogs. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car, though the driveway is steep and needs reversing into, so take care approaching it. Security cameras cover the front door and the parking space, coming on when they detect movement nearby. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop is 0.6 miles away with the pub 0.5 miles.
