Abbots Manor

Abbots Manor is a Georgian, Grade II listed house on a former country estate in Combe Raleigh, set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Rambling over three storeys, it sleeps 18 across eight bedrooms.

Four bedrooms sit on the first floor, including a super king double and a king-size double, and four more are on the second floor, among them a family room with a super king double and twin beds. Most rooms have their own en-suite bathroom, there's a further shared bathroom, and a ground-floor WC.

The entrance hall holds a table large enough for a half-size game of snooker or a small dinner, leading to a drawing room with a wood burner and a formal dining room, both furnished with antiques. The kitchen is built around an Aga, and a first-floor morning room doubles as a games room.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a large lawn, a terrace with a barbecue, a children's play area and a campfire spot for older guests. There's space for a marquee by arrangement, and a pub is less than a mile away. Off-road parking is provided for up to 10 cars, and EV charging is available at an additional cost. The manor takes three well-behaved dogs and is no smoking throughout.
