12 Thurlestone Rock

12 Thurlestone Rock is a second-floor apartment on the edge of Thurlestone Sands, part of the Thurlestone Rock development near Thurlestone, with sweeping views across the beach towards Bigbury Bay. Two flights of stairs lead up from the parking area to the entrance, then 15 to 20 steps up to number 12, so it suits guests comfortable with stairs. The apartment sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: a king-size room with en-suite shower room, a twin with two single beds, and a bunk room, plus a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

The fully fitted kitchen has an electric fan double oven, four-ring electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, with a separate utility area for the washing machine and tumble dryer. The spacious lounge/dining room has a Smart TV, sofas and a table that seats 6, and French doors open onto a private balcony with a small table and chairs, looking over the beach towards Thurlestone Rock.

Guests also have access to a large communal patio with a barbecue facility and a lower sun deck, plus exclusive use of a shared outdoor heated swimming pool, open from late May to mid-September. Note that barbecues are not permitted on the private balcony. One allocated parking space is provided, and the apartment is strictly no smoking.

Two dogs are welcome at a charge per dog per stay, though they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms. Building works are expected from October 2026 to replace the atrium windows; contact the office for details. WiFi covers the apartment, and all bed linen and towels are provided, though guests need their own beach towels.
