Whitley Farm House

Reached along a single-track lane and private driveway, this farmhouse dates back several centuries and sits near Molland within reach of Exmoor National Park. It suits groups of family or friends travelling with up to two dogs, with additional charges applying for dogs.

Inside, a lounge with a wood burner and Smart TV opens through to a farmhouse kitchen with flagstone flooring, exposed beams and a second wood burner, each supplied with a first basket of logs. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, coffee machine, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, while a separate utility room houses a fridge/freezer and Belfast sink, handy for muddy boots and letting dogs into the garden. A sunroom off the kitchen offers a quieter spot away from the main living space.

The ground floor holds a cosy twin bedroom alongside a family shower room and WC. Upstairs are three further bedrooms: a super-king-size room with double-aspect windows and two king-size rooms, served by two family bathrooms, one with a shower attachment and WC and the other with a bath, separate shower and WC. A single room with a cot can be booked on request only, in addition to the standard sleeping arrangements for eight.

Outside, close to an acre of lawn and natural habitat includes a small pond, so children need supervising in the garden at all times. Outdoor seating and a fire pit for grilling suit evenings as a group, and off-road parking is available for up to six cars. Internet access is provided throughout, and a travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests.
