Waytown Cottage

Waytown Cottage occupies a private wing of a working sheep and beef farmhouse near Shirwell, reached by a short drive and set apart from the main house for privacy while still overlooking the farm. Guests are welcome to explore the land and take part in seasonal activities connected to the working farm.

The ground floor has an open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen with a Smart TV, along with a shower room, WC and a separate utility housing a washing machine. Upstairs, three bedrooms sleep up to six guests: a twin room, a double room, and a further double with its own en-suite shower room and WC. A family bathroom with a bath and WC completes the layout, giving three bathrooms in total.

Outside, a patio fitted with outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue leads via steps to an enclosed lawned area with a swing and slide, useful for children playing within sight of the farm. Private off-road parking is provided for three cars, and internet access is available in the cottage. A travel cot and highchair can be supplied, though guests should bring their own bedding for the travel cot.

For an extra charge of £10 per adult and £5 per child, guests can also arrange use of a heated indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi at a property roughly ten minutes' drive away, booked directly with the owner. Dogs are not permitted at Waytown Cottage. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am.
