This nautical-themed cabin sits on a hillside in Heanton, near Braunton, with far-reaching views across the estuary towards Saunton Sands. A porch area at the entrance gives space to leave muddy or sandy footwear before stepping into the open-plan living area, where a sofa, Smart TV and wood burner (first basket of logs included) form the heart of the room. A breakfast bar with stools looks out over the water, and the compact kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine.

The property sleeps two, with a single bedroom furnished with a king-size bed. The bathroom is fitted with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower and WC.

Patio doors from the living area open onto an enclosed garden with furniture, a charcoal BBQ and a chiminea, making the most of the outlook over the hillside and estuary. Private parking is available for one car, and internet access is provided.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. The nearest shop and pub are both around a mile away, downhill, which makes for a fair return walk. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00. Guests visiting over the festive period should note the property is decorated for Christmas.
