Outside, a lawned garden wraps around the cottage, and a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ provides a practical space for outdoor meals. A beach is within one mile, and Sidmouth with its seafront, shops and cafes is roughly three miles away. A shop and pub are within two miles.

The Donkey Sanctuary is approximately 100 metres from the property and free to enter, making it an easy outing for families. Two dogs are welcome at the cottage, with additional charges potentially applying depending on the booking.
