The Tall Barn

The Tall Barn stands near Ash Mill, close to South Molton on the edge of Exmoor National Park. It sleeps up to 4 across three bedrooms, making it suited to families or small groups rather than larger parties.

Inside, an entrance hall gives way to a country-style kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and fridge, plus a dining area seating six. Across the hall, the lounge has exposed beams, a wood burner (first basket of logs included) and a television, with views over the gardens. Upstairs, the super-king bedroom has a Jack and Jill bathroom with roll top bath and separate WC, the king-size room has its own en-suite shower room and WC and a balcony overlooking the garden, and a twin room completes the layout, sharing use of the main bathroom.

Outside there is a private patio with garden furniture and a gas barbecue, set within grounds that include an ornamental garden, mowed nature trails and a lake with a drawbridge, where children must be supervised at all times. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and stables are available with horses welcome by prior arrangement.

Wi-Fi is included, along with bed linen and towels. A travel cot and highchair can be provided for younger guests. Two dogs are permitted per booking, with additional charges applying. Arrivals are from 17:30 and departures before 10:00.
