The Old Church House

The Old Church House stands in the hamlet of Torbryan, a mile from Ipplepen, a Grade II*-listed former inn with 11 en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 24. The ground floor is built around a private pub with a 58 inch TV and a bar serving draught beers and ciders, plus a lounge with a large log fire, a snooker room and a darts alley.

Bedrooms range from king-size rooms to a twin with two small double beds, and each one has its own en-suite bath or shower. The split-level dining areas seat the full party of 24, and the first-floor kitchen has a range cooker with induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridges and a freezer for large-scale cooking.

Outside there is a lawned garden and a separate rear garden with seating, and off-road parking is available in a private, gated car park. A laundry has a washing machine and tumble dryer, travel cots and highchairs are kept at the property, and oil central heating runs throughout with fuel and power included in the rent.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the games area has a snooker table, darts alley and board games for evenings in. Smoking is not permitted, there are steps throughout the building to plan around, and the property does not take bookings for hen or stag parties.
